How to create a shutdown icon on the desktop?

• Open Notepad.

• paste this code in it shutdown -s -t 2 

• Now save this notepad file in any drive, while saving, save this file as .bat. 

• For example, suppose we save this file as shutdown, then save it as shutdown.bat. 

• Once saved, the shutdown.bat file will be made in your drive. 

• Now right-click on this file with the mouse. 

• Select Send to - > Desktop (Create Shortcut) in the menu. 

• Now come to the desktop of your computer. 

• Here right-click on the shortcut named shutdown.bat with the mouse and click on Properties. 

• Here select the shortcut tab. 

• Where the shortcut key is written, after clicking it with the mouse in the column, press the "S" key along with the Ctrl + Alt buttons from the keyboard. By doing this you will see the shortcut key - Ctrl + Alt + S there. 
  

• If you want to change its icon too, then click on Change Icon. 

• Now select any icon that appears here, or select the shutdown icon, then click OK. 

• Now your shutdown icon and shortcut are both ready. 

• Now when you click on this icon or press Ctrl+Alt+S then your computer will shutdown
